Helichrysum bellidioides, known as the alpine sun daisy, is a charming perennial herb indigenous to New Zealand. A mat-forming evergreen perennial with mid-green leaves above, white-felted beneath. Its small, daisy-like papery white flowerheads appear in late spring and summer. Resilient to harsh conditions, it thrives in rocky, mountainous habitats.
