Streblus heterophyllus, commonly called small-leaved milk tree, is a versatile tree native to New Zealand. It features glossy, leathery leaves with serrated edges and small, inconspicuous flowers. Known for its dense wood and durable timber, it’s valued in construction and woodworking. Its edible fruits are also enjoyed by birds. Growing up to 12m in height, it is found in areas of lowland forest.
