Melicytus micranthus, commonly called small-leaved mahoe, is a native New Zealand shrub or small tree. It features small, glossy leaves and clusters of tiny, white flowers, followed by purple berries. Found in lowland forests, scrub and forest margins, especially on drier sites and on alluvial ground. I t is valued for its ornamental foliage and wildlife habitat. Growing up to 2m in height. Low/moderate flammability species.
