Anemanthele lessoniana, commonly known as wind grass, is a perennial grass species native to New Zealand. This species thrives in coastal and lowland regions. It forms dense, tufted clumps with slender, wiry stems that can reach heights of up to 1m. The grass is distinguished by its fine, hair-like leaves, which are light green to reddish and can appear somewhat delicate or wispy.
